A Milestone for Wine & Barrel, Three Years in the Making

Reflections on launch week, the first wines, and what comes next.

Last week marked an important milestone: the official launch of Wine & Barrel and the release of our first two wines.

A Quiet Beginning Brought Into the Light

For a long time, this project lived quietly in the cellar and behind the scenes. It took shape through fermentations, barrel selection, late‑night emails, regulatory applications, licensing, and all the slow, patient work that defines winemaking.

Bringing it into the world has been both humbling and energizing. To see a dream and vision come to life in under three years has meant a great deal to me. None of it would have been possible without the support of my family, friends, and business partners who listened, encouraged me, and helped carry this project to April 7.

What This First Week Revealed

What has meant the most over these first few days has been the response. The messages, the early orders, and the time people have taken to explore the site have reminded me that this work resonates beyond the cellar.

What has meant the most over these first few days has been the response. The messages, the early orders, and the time people have taken to explore the site have reminded me that this work resonates beyond the cellar.

Even with the headwinds facing the wine industry, I believe we are building something that will connect with people, not because there isn’t already great wine in the world, but because we built this for the people closest to us, with intention and care that comes from the heart.

Wine is a long game, and seeing this first chapter received with such warmth has been deeply encouraging.

Turning Back to the Craft

Now that the dust has settled from launch week, I am turning some of my focus back to the craft itself. In the coming weeks, I will share more from inside the cellar and more about what is ahead.

Our Proprietary Red Blend, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon are all on track for release later this year. I look forward to sharing how the wines are evolving, the decisions behind each lot, and the small details that shape the character of what we make.

I want this journal to be a place to document that journey, not just the polished moments, but the real ones that define the work.

Looking Ahead

If you have not yet had a chance to explore the new site or read about the wines, I would love for you to take a look. And if you have been with us from the beginning, thank you. Your support is what makes this next chapter possible.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
